Jeri Alper, RN, MSN, CLNC

Jeri Alper is a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant. Ms. Alper has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants. She has both hospital based clinical and administrative experience and has also worked for a major pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Jeri has utilized her medical knowledge and expertise to work with law firms initially to screen, investigate, and analyze medical records; identify appropriate medical experts and help manage the ongoing interaction with the plaintiff’s treating providers and experts. As a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, she has extensive experience in evaluating and understanding future medical needs and coordinating necessary government benefits. In this capacity, Jeri identified the need to help the disabled and catastrophically injured parties with their compliance of the MSP act and ensuring that plaintiffs have the resources and access to their post settlement care and treatment.

Stefanie Fishman Levine, Esq.

Stefanie Fishman Levine, Esq. has her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School. She is a former practicing attorney in the State of New York. Stefanie has now focused her career solely on working with plaintiff law firms and their injured clients to help identify MSP compliance issues early on in their litigation and provide valuable solutions.

Holly Carter MSN, APRN, CCM, MSCC

Holly Carter has worked in the medical field for the last 25 years with experience in Geriatrics, Oncology, Hospice, Home Health, Worker’s Compensation, Insta Care, and Family Practice. Holly completed her undergraduate BSN degree at the University of Utah and then went on to complete her Master’s Degree in Nursing at Maryville University. She has worked as a Medicare Set Aside Consultant for the past 10 years and is dedicated to making sure that Medicare Beneficiary’s future is protected in their new post-settlement world.

Rebecca Clay, RN

Rebecca Clay is a Registered Nurse. She graduated from nursing school as a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society and was awarded the Nursing and the Law and Outstanding Clinician award of her graduating class. Her career began as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse in Houston Texas. Following the birth of her second child, Rebecca continued her nursing career in the specialties of pediatric Gastroenterology and pediatric/adolescent Psychiatry. With two children attending catholic school, the opportunity to become the school’s nurse arose. Four years later, she relocated to Colorado. It is there where she became a Certified Medicare Set Aside Consultant (MSCC) and began writing Worker Compensation and Liability Medicare Set Asides (MSA) along with Medicare Reconsiderations. Rebecca has also obtained her Legal Nurse Consultant Certification (LNCC) and her Certified Nurse Life Care Planner (CLCP) as well as her (CMSP) Certified Medicare Secondary Payer Certification. She is a member of MSPN, Medicare Secondary Payer Network, the AALNC, American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants and the AANLCP, American Association of Nurse Life Care Planners.

Rebecca is most proud of her three children; her oldest son who is a computer engineer, her daughter, a senior obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and coaches competitive fast pitch softball and her youngest son, a sophomore in high school who is a wonderful musician and an avid video game player. She is a southern girl at heart, from Louisiana but loves living in Colorado.

Johnny Meyer

Johnny Meyer is responsible for cultivating and maintaining relationships with our structured broker partners. He is focused on developing strategies and business plans with partners, and executing against metrics and milestones to drive growth and revenue. He has been heavily involved with the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA), and is a member of the Legs & Regs Committee.

Johnny brings over a decade of experience working in business development, marketing, and customer service, and obtained his B.A in Sports Management, with a minor in Business Management from Salem State University.

He currently resides just outside of Boston, with his Fiancée and puppy. He’s passionate about volunteering with the Make-A-Wish Foundation & animal shelters, traveling, cooking, and sports- especially Boston sports.

Brian Schachter, Esq.

Brian Schachter, Esq. is a practicing plaintiff’s trial attorney in New York with extensive experience in all aspects of the litigation process and was a partner in the law firm of Schachter & Levine, LLP. He has also received his Series 7 and Series 66 licenses, and is the co-founder of ESS Settlement Services, an affiliate of Sage Settlement Consulting. As a settlement consultant, Brian has brought together this wide range of credentials and experience to help injured people and their attorneys craft customized strategies and solutions in the settlement process. His knowledge and role as an educator to the injured and their preservation of government benefits including Medicare is incredibly valuable to Saber Solutions providing the best expert services to the Plaintiff Bar and their injured clients.

Brian received his Juris Doctor degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1994 and began his private law practice in 1995. He has been published on the New York Law Journal Extra web site and has lectured for the Brooklyn Bar Association and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is an active member and Chair of the Education Committee for the American Association of Settlement Consultants. he also serves on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association.

Randy Levine, JD

Randy Levine is a former practicing plaintiff’s trial lawyer in New York. He is a founding partner of ESS Settlement Services, an affiliate of Sage Settlement Consulting. Randy’s extensive experience as a former trial attorney in a wide range of personal injury and medical malpractice cases offers a thorough understanding of all the issues faced by attorneys and their clients. Prior to forming Schachter & Levine, LLP, Randy was a senior litigator for a medical malpractice defense firm. As a result, he brings a unique perspective to the settlement and negotiation process, having worked for both plaintiffs and defense claims professionals. His knowledge and expertise in identifying government preservation issues early on and educating the attorneys and their injured clients helps support Saber Solutions continued strive to offer the best Plaintiff Loyal MSA compliance services.

Randy received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in 1994 and was honored to win the Nassau Academy of Law’s 1993 Moot Court Competition and a Certificate of Distinguished Merit. Randy has published and lectured with the Practicing Law Institute and with the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is an active member and Chairman of the Evolution Committee with the American Association of Settlement Consultants. He is also on the Advisory Board of Sage Settlement Consulting.

Richard Bass, Esq.

Richard Bass, Esq. is the co-founder and President of a defense oriented Medicare Set Aside (MSA) company and has been involved in this industry for almost a decade. He has extensive knowledge in the submission of MSAs to CMS, as well as the legal and practical impact of cases with both a workers’ compensation and liability component. His knowledge and experience with both the plaintiff and defense is invaluable to his role with Saber Solutions.

Richard received his Juris Doctor degree from the Hofstra University School of Law in 1998, finishing fourth in his class and being on the school’s Law Review. He has lectured on MSAs as well as conditional payments and ERISA liens to bar associations and other attorney groups.
